Okay, so, as you all may know I'm REALLY bad at drawing animals and especially coloring fur, so this was an adventure because (1) I haven't drawn in a long time and (2) I haven't colored in a long time.

Without further ado, we have my entry to :iconmisao-chan:'s Pokémon Contest. I haven't played any of the games, watched the shows or collected the cards since 8th grade, but I'm still a fan at heart, especially of the classic 151. My luck, since my research was brief, this kind of character already exists, and if so... well, bleh.

This is my interpretation of a baby form Eevee! With all dark markings, it has yet to develop it's white. The stripes, much like many dogs and cats as youngin's, will fade upon evolution. It's big ears are wider for heightened defense of it's tender little body! Aw. Other than that, he is not much different in attack and abilities than a regular Eevee, and evolves after meeting a certain love/emotional requirement from either it's parental figure or trainer.

Very simple, basic, but them fancy pokémans don't toot my horn.

I didn't notice until I was done but it's head shoulder probably be much larger, in traditional anime fashion. But as far as size and weight, a Cheevee is probably about 1/2 - 3/4 the size of it's evolved form in both length, heigth and weight. Quite literally a Chibi Eevee (hence the name).

Advanced critique is not particular wanted since this was for fun. :D Got my drawing juices flowing!

Pencil, Pen, Photoshop... 2-3 hours.

Anyone interested should check out Misao's contest, and the rest of her gallery! Mad props there.
